About Me

Hi, I’m Steph, the baker and cake decorator behind Baking Dreams!

My love for baking started back in 2013 when I began making celebration cakes for family and friends. I quickly realised there was nothing better than creating something special that could be part of someone’s celebration. When COVID hit I spent hours learning new techniques, creating fondant figures, and perfecting my cake decorating skills. What started as a hobby soon grew into the business I knew i wanted to keep growing.

Today, I specialise in creating bespoke cakes, cupcakes and sweet treats, all made from scratch using quality ingredients and plenty of attention to detail. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, wedding, baby shower or just fancy treating yourself, I love bringing your ideas to life

When I’m not baking, I’m usually spending time with my husband, who’s put up with me for over 16 years and proudly holds the title of my unpaid chief taste tester! (someone has to make sure everything tastes as good as it looks!) From sampling new flavours to giving honest feedback, he’s been there supporting Baking Dreams from the very beginning.

You may also know me from my Cake Shed, where I regularly stock freshly baked brownies, blondies, cookies and other delicious treats. Seeing familiar faces return week after week and meeting new customers has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.
